Angkor Wat
Built between the ninth and fifteenth centuries, Angkor was the centre of the Khmer Empire. Across an archaeological area of roughly 400 square kilometres, Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples form an exceptional landscape of towers, carved stone, courtyards and jungle. The photographs follow how architecture and vegetation continually frame one another.
